1-year review of double-eyelid adhesive fixation

I got this procedure done after a neighborhood friend introduced me to the clinic: double-eyelid adhesive fixation (in-out line) + ptosis correction + upper canthoplasty! The director explained everything kindly and said that because my eyebrows and eyes were close together, making it too high would look unnatural. Naturalness is my aesthetic goal too, so the line the director designed seemed exactly like the line I wanted, and I put down the deposit. The inside of the clinic was neat, and the operating room was clean as well. Not long after I lay on the operating table, I was put under sleep anesthesia, and after the surgery ended I went to the recovery room, where I lay down with an ice pack on. My swelling and bruising were pretty severe, but since this was adhesive fixation, the bruising faded after about 2 weeks, and the major swelling went down in 1 to 2 months. But it seems clear that the minor residual swelling takes quite a while. At the time, I thought all the swelling had gone down, but looking at the photos from then now, the line was so thick haha. Now the line has become much more natural, and the visible scar from double-eyelid surgery? has faded too. I was worried it might loosen because it was adhesive fixation, but so far it has stayed firm 👍🏻
