My double-eyelid crease had almost completely loosened, so my eyes looked very dull and makeup didn't even seem like makeup, so I eventually had revision surgery T_T Luckily I had some extra time, so I really looked up a lot of hospital reviews 🥹 I thought revision surgery needed even more caution than the first surgery, so I mainly looked for eye-specialty hospitals or places with eye-specialty directors, and among those I only shortlisted places with a lot of reviews for the style I wanted before going for consultations.. I had consultations at several places, and I decided on [Clinic D] because I liked it the most! They didn't just set the line once; they adjusted it several times while checking which line suited my eyes, and they explained in detail why that line fit well, so it was the most satisfying consultation haha. They also seemed to have a lot of revision-surgery experience, which made me trust them even more! The consultation result was that I was only recommended revision surgery with natural adhesion. I wondered whether I would also need eye correction or canthoplasty if it was a revision, but they said my eyes didn't really need it. I liked that they didn't recommend unnecessary procedures, and they explained in an easy-to-understand way why I didn't need them, so I could decide with peace of mind haha. The surgery didn't take long, and the swelling and bruising were not severe. Actually, recovery felt much easier than after the first surgery! I didn't do any special care, just cold compresses and light walks, and the crease settled in beautifully. Now that the line is clear, my eyes look much sharper and my makeup goes on much better. Before the revision, even with makeup my eyes looked plain and I was disappointed, but now I enjoy doing eye makeup lol. The scar is barely noticeable and the line settled naturally, so I'm satisfied to the point of wondering why I didn't get the revision sooner 🥹
