Revision Nose Surgery Review After Lots of Swelling Went Down! 1 Month Passed

About a month later, the major swelling had gone down a lot, and I can see the nose line gradually settling into place, so I’m really happy every time I look in the mirror. It also looks so much better in photos now because, unlike before, my nose has dimension. Before surgery, I had a pretty severe bulbous nose, and when I had my first nose surgery it seemed a little better, but over time the tip gradually dropped and the bulbous-nose look came back, which was so stressful. So this time, thinking it would truly be my last surgery, I carefully searched and compared revision nose surgery clinics and chose [Clinic A]. In the end, I think I really made the right choice of clinic. Even though it’s only been a month, my nose is higher than before and the line is much more defined. There’s still some residual swelling, but once that goes down I think the bulbous-nose look will improve even more, so I’m looking forward to it. This time I had the surgery with autologous costal cartilage, and the tip definitely feels firmly supported. The tip is set up nicely, and the fixation feels strong, so I’m even more satisfied. I’m still recovering, so thinking about how it’ll settle in even more naturally over time already makes me excited, and up to now this revision nose surgery has been extremely satisfying. I hope this helps a little for people like me who are thinking about revision because the tip dropped after the first surgery or because of a bulbous nose. I’m planning to keep managing it well while looking forward to how it will look once the swelling goes down more.
