Nose Surgery Reviews

My recent nose surgery update (donor rib + bulbous tip correction + hump nose correction)

I’d been worrying for a long time about my bulbous nose and hump nose, so I consulted with Director Choo Sung-cheol at D-Day, and I liked the direction of improving it naturally, so I had the surgery!! While doing the bulbous-tip correction and hump correction together, I had a 4 mm bridge, and for the tip I used donor rib and septal cartilage, plus cartilage suturing! Right after surgery I was worried because of the swelling and because the tip felt firm, but at the 1-month mark I could see the swelling going down and the bulbous-tip feeling getting better! Now at 2 months, even the residual swelling has gone down more, and it’s settling in much more neatly! The part I’m most satisfied with is how much the blunt feeling from the front has been reduced! The hump on the side line also connects naturally, so the whole impression feels much softer too! These days I’m just getting used to it like it’s my own nose. When I compare it with my old photos, the difference is obvious, so I keep comparing them over and over! Before, without contouring, my nose looked plain, so I paid a lot of attention to it, but now even with just a little makeup, the three-dimensional effect comes alive, so getting ready is much easier! The tip still feels a little firm, but it’s much more comfortable than at the 1-month mark, and it doesn’t really bother me when washing my face or going about daily life! I originally wanted a natural direction rather than something super flashy, and the current result feels not overdone and neatly refined, so I’m satisfied! Of course it hasn’t completely settled yet, so I guess I should keep watching a little longer?? Still, at the 2-month mark, the parts that bothered me before surgery have improved a lot, so I feel like I made the right decision! I’m taking it slowly as part of the recovery process, but I think I understand why people say it becomes more natural as time passes!!
