One month after surgery, the major swelling has almost gone down and the line has started to settle in nicely. The once hard and puffy tip of my nose has become much softer, and when seen from the front, the asymmetry that I had been worried about has been corrected, so I hear many people say my impression looks much clearer.
I have almost no pain now, but when I laugh broadly, I still feel a pulling sensation at the tip of my nose. Still, I was told this is a natural part of the recovery process, so I am trying not to rush.
For care, I have been keeping up with regular walks and sleeping with my pillow elevated, continuing the habit of sleeping on my back. I also apply the prescribed scar ointment carefully morning and evening.
There is still a need for more time until the remaining swelling fully goes away, but even with the results so far, I am already very satisfied. For those considering surgery, I recommend taking care of yourself with patience rather than rushing. I am looking forward to it becoming even more natural!
