How do I get rid of this swelling...?

I recently had lower eyelid surgery at [Clinic A], and the hospital said, and the reviews said too, that lower eyelid surgery recovers faster than other surgeries, so I trusted that and booked a gathering with the kids 3 weeks later. But looking at it now, I’m wondering whether all the bruising and swelling will really be gone by 3 weeks.. Even my child was worried and asked if mom was in pain on the day of the surgery, and then the next day, when the bruising got worse, I had to use up so much energy comforting my child when they cried and asked why mom’s face looked like that.. I am doing my best with compresses, but will all the yellow bruises be gone by 3 weeks? Even if I account for the swelling, T_T_T_T at least thankfully there is no pain.
