Because my nasal bridge has always been low, I lacked confidence in my side profile, and that led me to consider nose surgery. I had consultations at several hospitals, but Director Kim Hyun-ju explained everything in the most detailed and careful way, which built my trust and led me to decide on nose surgery. The surgery used autologous costal cartilage and custom-made 3D silicone, and septal reconstruction and rhinitis surgery were also performed at the same time. After the nose surgery, the side area where the autologous costal cartilage was harvested hurt more than my nose itself. Before the splint was removed, I could already feel that my nasal bridge had become higher, so I think I was just waiting for the day the splint would come off. Right after the splint was removed, my changed appearance felt unfamiliar, and I felt a little awkward looking at myself in the mirror, but as time passed it gradually became natural. My side profile has definitely improved, and from the front my features look much clearer too, so I am very satisfied with the current result.
