I had the stitches removed from my nose surgery today and took off the tape too. When I looked in the mirror, my nose was really, seriously swollen. I searched through a lot of recovery posts, but usually people are not this swollen when the splint comes off or the stitches are removed. Is it normal for it to be this puffed up? I am really anxious, so what should I do? I have been doing warm compresses really diligently and taking my medicine on schedule.
