If you get nose surgery with autologous costal cartilage

Depending on where the autologous costal cartilage is harvested from, sometimes it gets covered by the chest and sometimes it doesn’t. How much the scar remains is something you have to judge after the swelling goes down and the area fades.... I had nose surgery with autologous costal cartilage at [Clinic A], and the harvested area is slightly covered... but it is still visible, you know? The size was smaller than I expected. Personally, I think you can estimate it as starting to look somewhat settled from around 1 month to 1.5 months...? (I think I also got laser treatment starting from that point after I had fully healed.) Usually clinics that do autologous costal cartilage surgery make an incision of around 2 cm, so it would be similar to breast surgery, maybe a bit smaller than that. I think that kind of estimate is fine.
