I’ve always just taken information from here, but I worked up the courage to leave a review in the hope that it might help, even a little, people like me who are starting work again or worrying a lot about sagging:) After devoting myself to childcare for a while, I’ve now started working in society again.
After taking a long break and then having to face people and do face-to-face work, I found that I felt more self-conscious about my appearance than I expected Every time I looked in the mirror, the bulge of flesh that jutted out beside the corners of my mouth and the deepening nasolabial folds made me look tired and gloomy, so I would quietly lose confidence when meeting people.
Since this was work I was starting again, I wanted to do my best with a cleaner, brighter impression, so I looked into many options. Laser and thread lifting only pull on the outer skin a little, so I thought the results would not last long or would not fundamentally solve the problem. On the other hand, full facelift surgery would mean a long recovery or visible scars, which was not something I could easily choose since I had to get back to work right away.
So I decided on mini lifting, which offers a quicker recovery while still giving a definite result, and had a consultation with Director Kwon Ju-yong at ID, who has a great deal of experience in lifting procedures! During the consultation, I explained the concerns that had come up as I was starting work again and that I wanted an improvement that was not too much, but natural. The director looked at the overall balance of my face and recommended not forcing a change in my impression, but rather neatly organizing the flesh that had gathered and settled around the mouth and nasolabial area, so that only my original smooth line would be restored.
He also said the incision line would be kept to a minimum along the front of the ear, so it would hardly be noticeable~ Before surgery, when I had a blank expression, the flesh beside my mouth sagged and there was a strong shadow around the nasolabial area, so overall I looked tired and dull. But after surgery, that heavy shadow faded away completely, and the line from the mouth area down to the chin became really smooth and clean!
There was no awkward, forcibly pulled look at all, and it became natural, like my face on one of my best days, so these days I feel so much more confident when meeting people^^ On the first and second day after surgery, there was a little pulling sensation and throbbing, but it was manageable once I took the prescribed medicine! Swelling gradually increased until day 3, but from day 4 onward I kept up with cold compresses and it went down quickly. After about a week, the minor swelling and redness had almost completely settled, so there was no problem going to work and doing my job!
The incision area is also well hidden along the ear line, so people around me wouldn’t know unless I told them? Even though mini lifting is a surgery with a small incision, it is not just pulling the surface skin; it is a method that tightens from deeper inside, so I really think it is important to choose a director with a lot of surgical experience in this area! I hope this helps a little for people like me who lost confidence because they were worried about their impression or facial line before a new beginning!
