First double-eyelid surgery review! I had buried-suture + ptosis correction, and I’m happy because it changed my eyes into a pretty shape

My eyes were naturally on the small side and slightly droopy, so I had been using eyelid tape for a really long time I was wearing it almost like a habit, but later my eyelids seemed a bit stretched out too, so I thought I should at least get a consultation. I looked into a few hospitals and went for consultations!! But interestingly, most of them looked at my eyes and immediately said I would need an incision~~ or that partial incision would be the right choice~~. They also recommended things like epicanthoplasty and lateral canthoplasty on top of that. Not in a bad way, though I’m being honest! Instead, because my eye-opening strength was a little weak, they recommended combining it with ptosis correction to make my eyes look sharper, but it never felt forced. They told me to think it over and decide, so I kept considering it until the surgery date, then looked over the design again and eventually decided to do both. On the day of surgery, we re-set the line. I said I did not want anything too flashy, and they said a thin in-out line would probably suit me, so I agreed and went ahead right away. I was extremely nervous, seriously But because it was buried sutures, the swelling and bruising were not as bad as I had expected. Still, in the beginning my eyes felt a little heavy, and opening and closing them felt awkward. After about two weeks, that uncomfortable feeling almost completely disappeared and it gradually became more natural, so all my worries went away. And honestly, I had also worried that ptosis correction would make my eyes look round and rabbit-like, but I did not feel that at all. Opening my eyes became much easier than before, and people stopped telling me I looked sleepy. I was already satisfied at one month, but people around me said I should wait until two months, so I was secretly worried. I thought maybe as the minor swelling went down, the line would become too low and turn into a hidden double eyelid, but thankfully that did not happen. The line is staying well now, and it is exactly the natural look I wanted. It is at the level where I think, "It really became just like my original eyes," lol. I looked around the forum a bit and saw that a lot of people were checking whether they might need revision surgery for double-eyelid surgery too. Since I had time, I compared a lot of hospitals, and I think taking my time instead of rushing and visiting several places for consultations helped me a lot. The cost was not as burdensome as I had expected, and I am satisfied with the result, so it feels like one of the best choices I made this year.. But from going to consultations, I learned that some places feel comfortable the moment you walk in. And then while you are getting examined, there are places where you think, "Oh? This is nice?"
