4-Month Review of Revision Nose Surgery: Autologous Costal Cartilage and Scar

Sometimes I get anxious, thinking it might lower more than it is now after about 4 months (people who are considering revision nose surgery will probably know this feeling), but maybe because I used autologous costal cartilage, the height and line are still being maintained well. The blunt-looking nasal tip and wide alae were always stressful for me, but now it’s definitely slimmer, so my features look sharper!! Especially from the front when I smile, the feeling that my nose spreads out has mostly gone away, and people around me say the overall vibe looks completely different. The scar is a little worrying though I don’t have especially good skin, so when I went for a follow-up, they checked that too. But for now it’s healed without any major problems, and I think I’ll need to watch it for about a year to know for sure.
