For my first surgery 13 years ago, at a hospital in Apgujeong, Director Hong did an open rhinoplasty with silicone for the bridge and autologous auricular cartilage for the tip.
My original nose was already moderately high, and people used to say it was pretty. But photos never seemed to look as good as real life, so I guess that's just human greed...
Seven years later, I had lived without any particular problems, but I started to dislike the shape of my nose. The bridge between the eyes felt too high, and the tip had a slightly upturned half-curved shape that I didn't like.
So I wanted a straight bridge line and had a revision rhinoplasty at a revision-specialty hospital near Sinnonhyeon Station. It was done closed, but my nose became higher than before, and it seems they used septal cartilage for the tip. As time passed, it felt like my nose kept getting higher The tip felt much firmer than before too...
I thought this was a failure, so I held out for about two years, then went back to the hospital where I had the second surgery and asked for full removal. They said it would be fine to leave the tip and remove only the silicone... and it could be done for 1 million won, so I trusted them and had the removal surgery.
But this was a failure too The tip was high, but the bridge was low, so from the side the proportions looked off. Like rain boots or something... It wasn't severe, but the step did not match well and it stressed me out every time I looked at it...
Honestly, I wish I could go back to the nose I had before any surgery. It's been about 3 years living like this now... I really wish I could return to my original nose...
Even if it isn't 100%, if I could go back to a soft, natural nose, I think I wouldn't feel this stress. I don't need it to be soft-soft, but as much as possible I want a cleaned-up version of my natural nose.
After reading posts all over, I started thinking I should look into the three big names, but since the bridge has already been removed, would cartilage repositioning be enough?? I probably have some scar tissue, and I was told my skin is not thin.
Is the three big names the answer, or do I really need recommendations for a hospital that is actually good... This time I truly do not want another failure Please...
