Nose Re-Surgery

Septoplasty together with full removal?

I finally got my surgery date, and I’m going to have everything removed.. But I was born with the columella looking somewhat sunken in, so even during consultations I kept hearing that my columella was just naturally like that. At the clinic I’m having the removal at, they specifically said it might be good to slightly reduce the columella while doing the full removal, but then they told me that lowering the columella is septoplasty, right? Full removal is 90% lowering the columella (septoplasty) and 10% other things, so I’m wondering whether I should do that together or just do full removal alone. Any advice from people who have had septoplasty... I was told that if I had surgery, they’d take ear cartilage and insert it, but now this is the last time I want to touch my nose, so what should I do? If I want peace of mind, is clean removal the answer?
