Since I was young, I was often told I looked tired or that my eyes looked unfocused. At the clinic I was diagnosed with ptosis, and I was also told my left eye had especially less strength than my right eye. In any case, I went ahead with ptosis correction and incisional double eyelid surgery, and I heard that during the operation they did something extra on the left eye because it had less strength. But now about 20 days have passed and the swelling is gradually going down, and the more the swelling decreases, the more severe the difference between my left and right eyes becomes. When I wake up in the morning, the swelling makes it hard to tell, but as I go through the day and the swelling goes down, the difference becomes extreme by nighttime. This is how it looks in photos, but in real life or in the mirror it is so obvious that you can notice it immediately (the eye on the right side in the photo is actually my left eye). My left eye opens very easily and looks refreshed, but the right eye was not left uncorrected, of course. It does open more comfortably than before, but it is much smaller than the left eye. Could this also be due to swelling? Or as the swelling goes down, the difference is getting worse, so is it just a difference in swelling? What's more, there is not a big difference in the swelling of the incision lines on the left and right double eyelids (there was not much swelling to begin with).
