Nose Surgery Reviews

One month after nose surgery

It has been about a month since the surgery, and the overall swelling has gone down a lot and the shape of my nose is slowly settling in. I had rhinoplasty for a low nose bridge and a bulbous nose using a 3D implant and autologous costal cartilage, and since I had previously undergone surgery for rhinitis, I was a bit worried before the operation. As time passes, it keeps feeling more natural, and people around me often say that if I did not mention I had surgery, they would not know, so I am very satisfied. Just as I wanted, it does not feel like only the nose stands out; instead, it blends well with the rest of my face, which I like even more. For now, because of the swelling around the philtrum area, smiling still feels slightly awkward. Still, it has improved a lot compared with the beginning, and I think it will become even more natural with time, so I am not too worried. The area where the autologous costal cartilage was used usually feels almost no discomfort, but when I exercise or move my body a lot, there is still a slight pulling sensation, so that is the only thing I am paying attention to. It has only been a month, so more time will be needed before everything fully settles, but the progress so far is satisfying. I hope this review helps a little to people who are worried because they have a history of rhinitis surgery, or who are considering a natural correction for a low nose bridge and a bulbous nose.
