It’s already been 2 months since I had nose surgery at [Clinic A], so I finally came to leave a review here. I hope this helps even a little for everyone who’s stressed because of a nose like mine, with a severe hump, a bulbous tip, and even a short nose - a truly hopeless trio! Before surgery, my nose was really a total mess. From the side, the hump stuck out so much that it made me look really harsh and stubborn, you know? And from the front, the tip was blunt and bulbous, and it was even short, so it also had a slightly upturned-nose feeling. I’m in my 20s, but because of my nose I looked older for no reason, and every time I looked in the mirror I was stressed both from the front and the side T_T I visited several places, got a consultation with Dr. Koo, and immediately got hooked, so I booked it. My nose had so many things that needed correction that it must have been hard to decide the surgical direction, but the doctor looked at my internal nasal structure very carefully on the 3D CT, including things like my septum condition. I emphasized that I absolutely did not want a super obvious "I had surgery" look, and that I wanted to become naturally pretty in a way that suited my face. Then the doctor understood my needs exactly and pointed out only the necessary procedures without any unnecessary treatment. He said we should shave down the hump, correct the crooked part with osteotomy, and use autologous costal cartilage to lengthen the tip naturally, which made me trust the plan a lot. It’s exactly 2 months since the surgery now, and to get to the point first, I’m truly very satisfied! It’s not a sharp nose that screams cosmetic surgery, but one that was raised naturally into a straight-slash-slightly-curved line that matches my original facial harmony, so everyone thought I had just lost weight. Dr. Koo really seems to have god-level hands... I’m sure many people worry about pain from autologous costal cartilage, but only the first week felt a bit sore and uncomfortable, and now the scar is fading and there’s no pain at all! I also have no functional problems like nasal obstruction and can breathe comfortably. Let’s all succeed with nose surgery and find our own glow-up. Ask me anything you want, and I’ll answer everything!
