My nose was low overall and I also had a bulbous nose, so I was really stressed all the time; I used to cover my nose with my hand every time I laughed, and I became really withdrawn too. Before nose surgery, my self-esteem was really low.. I thought nose surgery was a very big operation, so I was pretty strict when choosing a place. I looked mainly for a clinic where the head surgeon could take responsibility from consultation through aftercare without any concern about proxy surgery, and where they could firmly define the tip structure. Through a recommendation from someone I know, I found [Clinic A], and after the consultation the doctor precisely pointed out the causes of my short columella and wide alar base. They explained the overall contour in very detailed terms using autologous costal cartilage, and I think those points were why I chose the clinic. After surgery, every time I look in the mirror I keep wondering why I didn’t do it sooner lol My bulbous nose, which I had worried about most, became much slimmer, and overall my nose looks more refined, with a higher bridge and slimmer line. Now that my nose looks better, my face as a whole looks more dimensional and upgraded? It hasn’t been long yet so I still have swelling, but I’m looking forward to what’s ahead ..lol!
