I naturally had a lot of fat on my eyelids, and even at the clinic they said it was quite a lot, so they recommended an incision method. But my mom and I thought that since our faces will change later when we get older, or we may want to change the shape anyway, I would probably need revision surgery someday, and if I did it with an incision it might be harder then, so we wanted to do it with a buried method. That is why I definitely recommend a buried method for surgery done when you are young. Recovery is faster too, and when I saw friends who had incision surgery, there were some who regretted it because they said their eyes looked like sausage eyes. But I feel like my eye shape correction was not done very well;; I still do not have much strength when opening my eyes, so when my face is expressionless my eyes still look somewhat closed. The photos below are from now, 2 years and 6 months later. Totally bare face. And my impression changed completely, more than other people. I went from a slightly snake-like look to a puppy-like look.
