First, let me open up about my eye history... Eight years ago I had partial incisional double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty, and five years ago I also had lower canthoplasty and lateral canthoplasty, so it was basically an eye that had undergone almost everything... hehe But as time passed, the line kept getting lower and more buried... and human desire never ends, so I wanted my double eyelids to be bigger and more dramatic than they are now!! T_T The canthoplasty also felt a little reattached?? so my eyes looked cramped... So I decided on revision surgery and spent a lot of time doing consultations, and my final pick was Director Hwang Inseok at [Clinic A]! He is already well known for revision eye surgery, and during the consultation I was drawn to his no-nonsense approach, pointing out exactly the parts that needed attention without any over-treatment, so I booked right away.
When we were setting the design, I said I absolutely wanted my double eyelids bigger than they are now!! The director carefully checked my eye structure and available skin, and while reassuring me that making them just bigger would only create sausage eyes, he drew the clearest line possible for my facial features. The moment he showed me the line, I knew this was it lol He also rechecked the space from my previous canthoplasty and adjusted it without going overboard, which made me feel much calmer about going into surgery!
After surgery, when I woke up from the anesthesia and looked in the mirror, there was definitely some swelling because it was a revision, but the line itself came out incredibly big and clean!! It is exactly the kind of line I wanted, with a strong presence and a crisp look, so I am already really excited to see how it looks once the swelling goes down T_T Maybe because the director was so meticulous, it does not look uneven at all, and even the cramped back/lower canthoplasty area feels opened up again? The pain was also less than my first surgery, so even now that I am home, it does not hurt much. For now, I am extremely satisfied lol
