Nose Surgery Reviews

ID Dr. Hwang Se-hwi is a god for revision rhinoplasty without an implant, seriously

About 5 years ago, I had tip-binding surgery, and 3 years ago I also had a thread lift on my nose. But as time passed, the tip started to sag and spread out again, which only made my stress worse. Especially when I smiled, the bulbous-nose feeling got dramatically worse, and from the front my nose looked short and dull, which was my biggest complex. I wanted a natural yet refined line, so I looked around for a hospital that was truly good at bulbous-nose revision, and after reading reviews for Dr. Hwang Se-hwi at ID Hospital, I went to see him. Other hospitals told me silicone was essential to get the nose line I wanted, but Dr. Hwang first checked the condition of my nose carefully. Because I had previously had tip-binding surgery and a thread lift, he explained in a very detailed way what the inside of my nose was like now and how weak the tip support had become, which I really liked. When I said I wanted to avoid implants because I was worried about side effects and wanted to go without one, the doctor clearly set the direction by saying he would use donated rib cartilage to build a solid support structure, improve the bulbous nose, and extend the short-nose look at the same time. When I was looking up reviews of Dr. Hwang's bulbous-nose revision, I saw so many cases where the bulbous nose was improved without alar reduction. The fact that the doctor was so confident that if the tip structure and direction were properly set, the frontal bulbous-nose look could become slim enough without cutting away tissue felt really trustworthy. Right after surgery, honestly, I was very worried that the swelling meant the bulbous nose hadn't improved. But once the big swelling went down a bit, I understood why people say Dr. Hwang Se-hwi is a master of the straight-to-slightly-curved line. The side profile is exactly the refined, glamorous line I wanted, without looking too artificial, and the frontal change is amazing. Before, the tip looked blunt and spread out, but now even without alar reduction the tip has come together, so it looks much slimmer and more organized. With the tip lifted nicely, that short and dull impression also improved naturally. Honestly, because it was done without an implant, I worried inside that if the change was too small, what then? But in the end it doesn't look like I had surgery, yet it feels much more luxurious. I really got this much of an effect after fixing my nose, so it's surprising and satisfying.
