Nose Surgery Reviews

1 month after a successful revision rhinoplasty after failed bulbous nose correction at [Clinic A] with Director Hwang S.H.

I had my first bulbous-nose correction surgery 10 years ago, but it did not improve as much as I had hoped, so I always felt disappointed. From the front, the tip of my nose still looked round and wide, and every time I took photos, my nose stood out first, which was pretty stressful.

I thought that once time passed and the swelling went down, it would get better, but it was simply not corrected properly. I kept putting it off, thinking at least I did not have any complications, but my revision worries only grew, so I finally decided to go through with revision surgery this time.

While reading revision rhinoplasty reviews and bulbous-nose correction reviews, I really looked into many hospitals and went to several consultations. But maybe because it was revision surgery, some places told me there would not be a big change and did not recommend revision surgery, and many also said bulbous noses have limits by nature.

At that point I started to think, can revision surgery really not work? Do I just have to live with this nose? When I was almost giving up, I went to [Clinic A] for one last consultation... I said that I did not want anything too flashy, that I wanted a graceful, naturally pretty result with a straighter-but-not-too-straight line, and that bulbous-nose correction was absolutely my top priority.

But Director Hwang S.H. listened very seriously to what I said and explained carefully in a way I could understand, focusing on refining the tip and improving the wide-looking area. He also pointed out how the parts other places said had limits could be compensated for, which made me trust him right away!!

The moment I finished the consultation, I felt this was the place, so I booked surgery at [Clinic A] lol

It has been exactly one month now, and it really came out in the straight-but-not-too-straight line I wanted, graceful without being overdone, so I am extremely satisfied! The bulky nose feeling is gone, and my overall impression feels cleaner and more refined, which I like even more T_T

Honestly, I had so many worries because it was revision surgery, and I went in thinking this would be my last chance. But compared with my old nose, the bulbous-nose look has reduced a lot and the nose looks slimmer, so personally I think it was a complete success~~

If there are people like me who failed their first bulbous-nose correction surgery and are thinking about revision, do not just visit one or two hospitals. Make sure you go to several consultations! And it really seems important to clearly explain the style of line you want and get the procedure from a place that is confident it can improve that part.
