About 3 to 4 years ago, I had my first double-eyelid surgery with a natural adhesion technique, but it all came undone... I had asymmetrical eyes to begin with, and the skin on my eyelids was on the thin side. One eye had less fat above the eyelid, so the double crease was more pronounced, and the other had a bit more volume left, so the natural adhesion line from the double-eyelid surgery was still there, but anyway, it was almost completely undone..
Because of my job I meet a lot of people, and with my eyes like that I was constantly aware of it and my confidence really dropped... When I put on eye makeup, shadow would get stuck in the crease on one side, and the more I drew eyeliner on the outer corners, the more obvious the asymmetry became Looking back, the difference looked even bigger when I was wearing makeup than when I was bare-faced, so it wasn't just a failed eye appearance issue. It also lowered my self-esteem and made me feel mentally worn down.
I joined three cosmetic surgery communities and kept searching for good eye-specialist plastic surgery clinics and review lists, while visiting in person to compare options. I narrowed it down to five places and went for consultations, but Wink felt the most trustworthy, and there were many review photos that matched my aesthetic, so after a lot of thought I ended up having surgery there.
Director Kim Gi-beom explained that to restore balance they needed to correct the adhesions left by the previous surgery, the strength of my eyelid opening, and even the volume difference above both eyes together, so I underwent upper-eyelid fat repositioning and ptosis correction at the same time.
I thought recovery would take a long time because it was revision surgery, but once I kept up with pumpkin juice and used cold and warm compresses properly, I could see both eyes gradually matching more and more as time went on.
It has now been 6 months since the surgery, and I am honestly beyond satisfied. If I had used that time to get consultations instead of worrying alone, I should have just had surgery that same day...
If you are like me and struggling because of your eyes and losing confidence... honestly, it's just a waste of time..
This is my experience The thickness is symmetrical now, the elegant line is exactly my style After the swelling went down, I wake up every morning and check the mirror. Maybe because I also had ptosis correction, opening my eyes feels so much easier, and I have corrected the habit of opening my eyes by straining my forehead a lot.
And makeup is so much fun..! Taking selfies too >< Looking back while writing this review, my eyes before surgery looked older because of the overlapping crease and hollowness, but with just double-eyelid surgery I look younger too, so I'm so happy
