It has already been exactly 3 months since I had three-piece contour surgery!? Before surgery, I kept complaining that the swelling and pain made every day feel endless, but now that 3 months have passed, the swelling is almost completely gone and I can finally see my actual face shape, so I wanted to share a review haha.
The biggest change is definitely the front view! Once the prominent cheekbones came in, my impression became much softer, and the square jaw was also neatly refined, so every time I look at my side profile I think, this is why people get contour surgery lol.
I met up with friends last week for the first time in a while, and they looked at my face and said I must have lost a lot of weight and asked if I went on a diet lol. Nobody knew until I told them I had surgery! My goal was to look prettier without it being obvious, and I think it turned out naturally, so I feel relieved
Of course, 100 percent of the swelling is not gone yet. I still have a little residual swelling on both sides of my mouth and around my cheeks. You know that slightly heavy feeling when smiling or opening your mouth? Because of that, my mouth line still looks a little unnatural at times, but I looked through reviews from everyone who had contour surgery, and they all said it gradually settles between 3 and 6 months, so for now I am putting away my impatience and taking it easy~~
I had it done at [Clinic A] with Dr. Lee Jihyeok, and I think the result is even better because he was so thorough in consultation and tailored the surgery to my face haha. Once the big swelling went down and my face shape settled, taking selfies became a different kind of fun lol. Every time I remove my makeup and look in the mirror, I remember how much I worried about contour surgery... but honestly, I think you have to go through with it for the healing to happen haha. There are really a lot of people worried about contour surgery, right? I also had days right after surgery when I wondered if this was the right decision and felt down, but looking at the result now, I really think I made the right choice.
