I had the costal cartilage support and septal extension removed. Anyway, because of the splint right now only the nostrils and the nasolabial angle are visible, so guessing the shape is pointless. For now, the biggest reasons were the foreign-body sensation and function, and those things have been really, really hard for me. The foreign-body sensation has honestly improved a lot, and my 11-shaped nostrils have become rounder. If I had only planned to lower the support, the foreign-body sensation would not have been resolved and I think my depression would have gotten even worse.
