When I first said I was getting cosmetic surgery, my mom was strongly against it, but now she seems to like it even more because she says her daughter looks prettier haha
I also had a lot of worries when I was looking into the surgery, so I’m writing this review in hopes that it can help someone! My eyes were not small, but because I had no double eyelids and a lot of fat in the upper eyelids, they were big in a way that looked really unpretty.
Ever since school, I was so jealous of friends who had double eyelids, and I think the desire to become prettier is the same for everyone, so I secretly looked up double eyelid surgery a lot, pretending otherwise lol
Honestly, the hardest part when I was researching the surgery was that there were so many reviews, but none that felt like a good match for me.
There were lots of pretty influencer reviews on Instagram, but I’m not those girls, right? I wanted a real review with bare eyes, not a filtered or retouched selfie, but there were surprisingly not many of those, so I had a hard time lol
The reason I went to consult at Eyeinic Plastic Surgery was that among the reviews, there were the most that felt like genuine reviews, and the reason I ended up getting surgery was because the consultation was so good!!
I went to the consultation with my mom, and after hearing the explanation, my mom gave her approval too. I was recommended an upper epicanthoplasty and incisional eye correction together, and the explanation of how opening my eyes would become easier and how the double eyelid line would form was so clear that both my mom and I understood it very well.
For about two weeks after surgery, there was puffy swelling like a sausage along the double eyelid line!
It’s been one month now, and there is still a little residual swelling, so please keep that in mind when looking! First of all, opening my eyes has become so much easier, and the discomfort I used to feel because my eyelids pressed down on my eyes has also been resolved.
The double eyelids still have a bit of swelling, but even now they look pretty enough that I’m satisfied.
Honestly, I didn’t expect it to improve things that affected daily life too, but it did. My eyes became prettier and opening them became easier, so my mom is really happy too haha
She used to worry that my expression looked too sleepy and not very good, and that if I ever entered the working world, people might see me in a bad light, but now my expression looks so much better and I’m more comfortable too, so my mom is very happy haha
