For several weeks after the surgery I wore the compression band, but it was not as uncomfortable as I had expected. That said, because there was swelling, I could not really feel the changes at first, so for a few days I kept thinking, does this even work? I must have asked my friends a hundred times if I looked a little slimmer lol. Then, around 3 weeks later, I started noticing little changes every time I looked in the mirror. Before, when I bent my head while using face recognition on my lock screen, I had a real double chin and the two-chin situation was no joke T_T, but now, even more swelling had gone down since the last time I posted a review, and a lot of facial fat had disappeared. People around me also say my face got smaller, but it is not like my facial bones actually became smaller, right? Still, once the jawline is refined, it creates the effect of making the whole face width look smaller too... lol. At first I worried a lot about whether to get it because of recovery, but I think I made the right choice... You do need to be prepared to manage fibrosis though;; What's the point of aftercare if you do not feel like going after surgery because it is a hassle... lol. Still, I did not want to regret it later, so I faithfully went every time they told me to come in. For a while I thought it would go away if I just lost weight, so I exercised and dieted, but even though my body slimmed down, the area under my chin stayed the same lol. At that time my trainer got my body fat down to 18.7%, but the fat on my face would not go away no matter what;; In fact, once the cheek fat came off, my double chin seemed even more noticeable... For people like me whose route was weight loss > success > double chin fat still there, this might be helpful as a reference. For what it is worth, I also tried InMode, but it did not work for me because I had a case with a huge amount of fat, and I also had muscle binding done, so it has been almost a year and it still seems to be holding up well.
