[Clinic A] / Tip with a blunt nasal tip and a hump nose, corrected without an implant

For reference, I had a nose thread lift last year, but it changed so little that I honestly felt I did it for nothing. So I figured my nose would have to be fixed with surgery for sure.. I felt there was no way a procedure would work. The biggest reason was the hump nose T_T If you look at the photos before surgery, you can tell the hump was really obvious T_T At every hospital I visited, they kept talking about osteotomy and saying I would need silicone, so it was really hard to even find a hospital. I did not want anything fancy, just a cleaner hump, a smoother-looking blunt nasal tip, a nicely defined line.. My goal was to fix the drooping columella well and lengthen the nasal tip so the overall nose would look slimmer.. But I really did not want silicone, so I wanted to do it without an implant T_T In the end I visited many places and had surgery at [Clinic A], and during the consultation they said that with no implant, the hump should not be shaved down too much?? It seemed like the best method was to raise only the tip and bridge to cover it, from what I heard lol. When there is a hump nose, using silicone can make the nose too high, so with this method they filled the upper part of the hump with cartilage particles and used septal cartilage for the tip. Director O Seung-il said that if I wanted a more glamorous tip height, I should use donated rib cartilage too, but until the surgery day I really struggled and eventually just had surgery sized to fit the septal cartilage. But even now, it came out plenty glamorous, right?? The height seems to have come out enough for what I wanted, so I think I made a good decision. If it had been any higher, people might only have noticed the nose lol. And because it was done without an implant, the bruising and swelling were not severe, so recovery was really fast.. The drooped tip was extended with septal cartilage, and the tip shape came out well too. I had issues like a bulbous nose, crooked nose, hump nose, all the bad stuff, so I wondered whether this could really be corrected with an open, no-implant approach, but it turned out well and I am really glad.. T_T If you do not want silicone on the bridge, you should also look into cartilage particles.
