I’m not exactly sure when I first learned the term for a hook-shaped nose, but while searching, I realized my nose was exactly that.. I knew there was a surgery that lifts and refines the tip of the nose, but since this would be a revision surgery, I felt uneasy about going anywhere casually. When I went for a consultation and talked it over, they checked both the reason my nose tip had drooped and the condition of the inner structure. They also said one side was somewhat narrow functionally, so anyway, since it was a revision surgery, they said it was necessary to check the condition of the existing tissue first, and that rather than changing too much, it would be better to adjust it within a natural range. There was no feeling that they were pushing me too hard, and they honestly told me how far they could go based on my condition, so the consultation itself was pretty good. I still haven’t decided yet, but the direction seems right, so I’m planning to think about it a bit more.
