Eye Surgery Reviews

Review of Gangnam Seyeon Clinic

3 years ago I had double-eyelid surgery / front canthoplasty / fat removal through an incision, and it was done thin like a hidden double eyelid. Summary of the consultation back then: Do I need ptosis correction? My eye-opening strength is good, so my eyes are not the type that need ptosis correction. It would make them look too sharp. Front canthoplasty or upper canthoplasty?: They mean the same thing, and which one to do has to be decided while making the line. For now, front canthoplasty seems right. Result: My skin is thick and tends to sag, so the double eyelid got covered. When I went to other places for consultations, they said it had loosened. There is a white scar, they say, but I can’t really tell. Is it visible when I close my eyes? It doesn’t seem bothersome. The front canthoplasty did not make the Mongolian fold disappear. People did say it was strange that there is no scar from the front canthoplasty now... but I think this was the best option for my eyes. Overall, my original eyes were just hopeless, so there was a slight improvement, but because my skin is very thick and prone to sagging, it eventually loosened anyway. Still, at the time it was natural-looking, so please only use this as a reference. The follow-up period was 1 year and I don’t think there was any discount
