I went to a few places for consultations while looking into cheek removal surgery. I went in expecting the wait time to be about what I had imagined. I had heard popular places can have a bit of a wait, so I was prepared, but it didn’t feel as long as I expected, lol. During the consultation, the director looked at the facial fat with ultrasound. While checking where the fat was and how much was there, they said that removing too much unnecessarily could cause hollow cheeks, so instead of over-removing, we proceeded by trimming only the necessary areas. Other places only said that taking out a lot would give better results, but here it felt different because they explained the possible side effects too. Since they told me this in advance, I actually felt more trust. I realized that removing as much as possible is not always the answer. After the surgery, the area under the chin became more refined and the line looked clean. Because they didn’t remove too much, my cheeks don’t look sunken, and I like that it was refined naturally. There aren’t many places that check fat with ultrasound and then do surgery, so I think I chose the right place here.
