I had the surgery yesterday T_T After a detailed consultation with the surgeon, I waited, then went into the operating room with a trembling heart and lay down, and the nurses were busily getting things ready T_T
They could see I was tense and scared, so they reassured me not to be nervous. They put the oxygen mask to my mouth and started the IV in my arm, and the moment they said anesthesia was starting, I lost all memory. Then I think they told me to wake up, but I don't remember that either T_T When I was starting to come to a little, I was already in the recovery room, so I must have gotten there somehow lol I really have no memory at all..
First of all, my head really, really, really hurt the most (that was the biggest pain), and then my throat T_T It hurt more than when I had COVID T_T. Compared with the pain in my jaw, the jaw itself just throbbed and was bearable, but everything else hurt extremely badly T_T I was sleepy but couldn't sleep, which was also so hard T_T In the middle of that, I kept doing deep breaths in and out to clear the anesthesia.. While I was doing that, the surgeon came over and said it went well and asked what was the most uncomfortable thing. When I said my head hurt, they held the compression wrap for me lol, and it felt better. After that, the director and the nurses kept taking care of me, which was nice. At one point they told me to move a little, so I did, and I had absolutely no nausea. I usually vomit a lot, so I was worried, but I was fine~
As expected, everyone is so different T_T My surgery was at 12:30, but there was no separate admission here, so I recovered and was discharged at 7 o'clock. As soon as I got home, I tried to gargle, but everything kept leaking out T_T I coughed, my nose was blocked, and then when my nose kept running, I blew it a little and blood came out. The phlegm in my throat is no joke either, but I can't spit it out... My throat hurt so badly, but I had to swallow, so it was hard T_T After I got home, the throat pain hit its peak even more than the headache.. I kept waking up because my throat hurt and because of the phlegm blocking my jaw, and it was hell T_T Right now, aside from the throat pain and phlegm, I'm okay, and the swelling is turning me into a bulldog. I'm still gargling, but it still leaks out, and my sensation is fine except for the lower lip. I just took Newcaine, took my medicine, and gargled. Rice porridge? I really can't eat it.. my throat hurts that much.. They told me to only do the compression wrap about 5 times a day, so I'm taking it off and resting T_T Once the swelling goes down a bit, I'll come back and write again.
