The first time I had nose surgery was, I think, in 2016. Back then I did not know any better, so I just put silicone in the bridge and used ear cartilage to build up the tip. But after about 10 years passed, maybe because the support got weaker, the tip started to droop more and more;; Once the tip drooped, my whole face made my nose look very long and gave me an older appearance. On top of that, at some point the asymmetry of my nostrils became severe too, so every time I looked in the mirror it drove me crazy. I checked the place where I had my first surgery, and even the director there had changed.. Since this had to be my last surgery, I seriously spent all my time and energy researching both online and offline. Because it was a revision surgery, I decided I should use autologous costal cartilage for better support, but since it was such a major operation, I really wanted to go to a director who was experienced and skilled. Then I found Director Hwang Sae-hwi at 0 0 D Hospital. He has over 20 years of experience and skill specifically in revision nose surgery, so he was already famous as a real master in revision and reconstruction work. When I went for the consultation, I could feel that he was not just trying to make it pretty, but was also giving equal importance to both the aesthetic line and functional improvement for breathing. He really is the kind of person who deserves to be called a master of both internal and external rhinoplasty lol Especially for a case like mine, where the tip had drooped and the structure had collapsed, he said he would perform the surgery using a three-stage serial extension technique?? to firmly rebuild the tip structure. Since autologous costal cartilage would support the structure so solidly, I was told I would not need to worry about it bending later, so I fixed the surgery date right away! I have already had the surgery and the swelling has completely gone down, and now that the drooped tip I hated most has been lifted, the long-looking nose has been corrected and my midface looks shorter! Thanks to that, people keep saying I look much younger lol And he really matched the nostrils symmetrically too. Since the support was firmly built with autologous costal cartilage, the tip feels sturdy when I touch it. Honestly, it seems like I will not have to worry about it drooping or bending for the rest of my life lol The line is not overly dramatic either, and it was finished to suit my face shape perfectly, glamorous yet natural, so I am really 200% satisfied I was so sad because my tip had drooped, but instead my nose shape turned out even prettier, so I am really happy,,
