I had nose surgery 20 years ago, but at some point the tip of my nose gradually started dropping. I was shocked when I saw a selfie, and after that I kept noticing it every time I looked in the mirror. So I felt it was time to really make a change, and while searching for reviews focused on revision nose surgery, I came to [Clinic A]. Director Ji Seung-ryeol looked at the photos and CT scan together and walked me through the bone and cartilage structure one by one, and explained in a very logical way why the tip of the nose had settled downward and the problem with the septum and support strength. He divided what could be done and what could not be done, and told me in numbers how many millimeters would be possible, which somehow put my mind at ease. Since this was my second revision nose surgery, I also consulted other hospitals, but in the end I could not find anywhere as good as [Clinic A], so I had it done by Director Ji Seung-ryeol. Honestly, when the splint came off, it felt a little awkward, but once the swelling went down the side profile improved a lot. In particular, the angle of the nose tip rose slightly, so the nasolabial angle was also tidied up and it looks natural when I smile. Rather than being overly high like before, I guess you could say the near-straight nose line became beautiful, and it feels like the proportions of my whole face were balanced. After the surgery, people around me praised it as a success. Some friends even asked where I had the revision done because it does not look like an obviously operated nose. My husband also worried before the surgery, but after it was done he said it turned out really well. In fact, because it was my second revision nose surgery, I was very worried, but as I listened to the explanations, I gradually felt reassured. I asked a ton of questions in between, and Director Ji Seung-ryeol answered everything, which I appreciated. During recovery too, he checked directly whether I had any discomfort, so it felt like I was being cared for. Now whenever I look in the mirror, I remember how tense I was at the beginning and it makes me laugh.
