I had my first surgery here 10 years ago using only silicone and ear cartilage. As best as I can remember... The consultation was kind, and the surgery turned out well. I have since had a revision at a Seoul hospital that is famous for revision surgery because I was dissatisfied with the shape. When the doctor who performed the revision reopened my nose, he praised it and said that in my first surgery they had not touched the septum and had done a clean operation using only ear cartilage, with no adhesions or scar tissue, and that everything was neat. But there was one unpleasant thing... The surgery was done while I was conscious. Some residents or trainees came to observe for a moment, and at the beginning of the operation he explained things to them... Of course, without asking for my consent. It has been so long, and the surgery turned out well, so I have absolutely no intention of making an issue out of this. It is just something that stayed in my memory as an episode, but anyway, that part felt unpleasant. Still, the skill was there.
