The wide lower part of my face and the square jaw shape had been a long-standing concern for me! Every time I took a photo, the lower face stood out first, and as I got older, my facial lines seemed to look duller, so I started considering contouring surgery. After looking into several hospitals and having consultations, the director at Kirin Plastic Surgery explained the surgical direction suited to my face shape in detail, which built trust, and in the end I decided to have two types of contouring surgery: square jaw reduction and chin reduction.The day of surgery was more nerve-racking than I expected, but the staff and nurses guided me kindly, which made me feel much calmer. Once I went into the operating room, anesthesia was given quickly, and when I opened my eyes I was in the recovery room. I thought the surgery time would feel long, but in reality it felt like I had just taken a short nap.Right after surgery, the inside of my mouth and my throat were the most uncomfortable. Because of the general anesthesia, my throat was sore and even swallowing saliva was not easy, and my face felt overall firm and swollen. The pain was more tolerable than I expected, but the blocked nose and the feeling that my throat was swollen were difficult in their own way.In particular, because I could not open my mouth well, I ate mostly liquid foods like New Care. Today, on the seventh day, I am eating porridge, and I can feel the swelling going down a little every day haha I hope the swelling goes down quickly. I will come back again after the swelling is gone to write another review.
