Hello. I am coming up on 4 months after facial contouring type 1 (cheekbone) surgery, so here is my second review!! I originally thought I would go to the clinic the very next day after surgery, but because I had surgery right before a holiday, I ended up going after the holiday. To be honest, I was a little nervous before going. I kept wondering whether there might be any problems and what the swelling would be like. When I went to the clinic, they disinfected the area and explained the precautions and progress, and strangely enough I felt more excited than nervous. That is because I had already felt it from the day of surgery. It was like the cheekbones that had been my complex for so long had been completely cleaned up. Every time I looked in the mirror, I kept thinking, "Huh? This really looks different," and I found it amazing over and over again lol. And what surprised me most was the reaction from people around me! Honestly, I thought if I said I had cheekbone surgery, everyone would know right away, but nobody did. You might think, "Isn't it better if it shows that you had surgery?" but for me, this was actually more satisfying. Everyone kept saying things like, "Did you lose weight?" "Why does your face look so much better?" "You look prettier, did you do something?" They did not know I had surgery, but they said my impression improved, which made me feel even more proud. It was exactly the change I wanted. It does not feel artificially dramatic, just naturally more balanced facial shape! It is only approaching 4 months, but my satisfaction is really high, and if I could go back to before, I think I would not hesitate and would get the surgery even sooner. That is how satisfied I am haha. I spent such a long time stressed about my cheekbones that these days I feel good every time I look in the mirror!! The swelling has gone down a lot, but they say the residual swelling lasts for a year, so I am even more excited about what is ahead haha.
