Nose Surgery Reviews

It took 2 years from consultation to nose surgery h;

This was my first time getting any cosmetic surgery, so I was so cautious that it took two years h; Rather than deciding after looking at just one place, I went to consultations at several hospitals and compared them slowly. My first consultation was two years ago, and at the time I was worried about how wide the nostrils looked and about a hump on the bridge. I kept going around to consultations thinking maybe my nose bone was just wide. And I told them that I did not want an implant, so I wanted a nose surgery without an implant! At the first consultation, after looking at the CT scan, the director explained that it was not that the nostrils themselves were spread out, but that the columella was raised, which made the nostrils look wide. He also said the tip looked lifted and short, so if the columella were lowered and the nose lengthened a bit, the issues I was worrying about would improve a lot. At that time, I honestly had no real knowledge about nose surgery and it was my first consultation, so I was half skeptical. But as I went to more consultations, I actually started to think that the explanation I heard at the first one was the most accurate diagnosis of my nose. Most places talked about osteotomy or implants, but what stuck with me here was that they explained in detail why rotation grafting was needed and why osteotomy was not necessary. In the end, I had a re-consultation in June 2025, and the fact that the original consultation content and direction had not changed much made me trust them even more. Then I booked surgery for November of the same year. So from the first consultation to the actual surgery, it took almost two years. The surgery was a no-implant tip surgery using only septal cartilage, and I also had the columella lowered, the tip widened a bit, and the hump corrected. It has been about six months since the surgery, and the nostril show that used to bother me has been reduced a lot, and the feeling that my nose looked spread out when I smiled is definitely less noticeable than before. The hump seems to have been smoothed out well too. I visited many hospitals while worrying about nose surgery, but as time passed I ended up coming back to Dr. Romi, who gave the most sincere explanation and accurately diagnosed my nose during the first consultation. Because I have a cautious personality, it took a long time to decide, but in the end I do not regret the time I waited at all h;
