I finally got a line I like after my nose revision, so I am posting this in a really happy mood.
At my first surgery, the tip dropped too much and my nose became long, so I was really stressed out by what people commonly call an arrow nose, a nose that makes you look older. Every time I looked in the mirror, all I could see from the front was my nose, and hearing that I looked older than my twenties drove me crazy.
So this time I decided it would really be my last chance and spent a lot of time researching both online and in person, focusing on hospitals that are good at long-nose surgery. In the end I found a hospital that suited me and had the surgery.
On the day of surgery, I was still extremely nervous even though it was my second time, but when I opened my eyes, I was in the recovery room.
The swelling felt less than after my first surgery, maybe because the director's hands are so skilled. The bruising was not as bad as I expected, so I was relieved.
At one week, I took off the stitches and splint with a heart full of anticipation, and wow... I was really moved. Even though there was still a lot of swelling left, that old witch-like nose feeling had completely disappeared! With the tip lifted a little, my face looked more three-dimensional and younger, so I was touched.
Now about a month has passed, and as the remaining swelling goes down, it is settling into the glamorous straight-curve line I wanted!!
My friends also said that just changing my nose somehow made my whole vibe better, asking why I did not redo the long-nose surgery sooner, and they were all amazed.
Especially when taking side-profile photos, I love how the line falls smoothly without the tip drooping. I hope everyone who is considering revision surgery can succeed and be free from nose problems!
