Nose Surgery Reviews

One month after rhinoplasty review

This is my one-month rhinoplasty review!- I kept looking in the mirror every day and waiting for the swelling to go down, and now that 30 days have passed, I think most of the big swelling is gone. I am just hoping the tip swelling goes down a bit more!!!- Pre-op concerns and why I chose the hospitalBefore surgery, my nose was low and blunt, with a somewhat boxy tip. It was not severe, but I did have a hump, and my nose was also kind of bulbous. Every time I looked in the mirror, both the front and side views stressed me out, so I made up my mind and decided to have surgery.I chose the hospital after visiting several places because they create a straight-to-slightly-upturned line that suits my face shape without being too flashy!- Surgery details: 2 mm silicone on the bridge + autologous costal cartilage for the tip- Current status and satisfaction at one monthIt seems like only the tip swelling is left now. I have been drinking pumpkin tea and going on walks regularly, and I hope the rest of the swelling goes down soon The height and the overall shape of the nose are nice, but the columella seems to have been designed a bit long, so that part is slightly disappointing.- Pain/scarring: There is no nose pain at all, and the donor site for the autologous costal cartilage has improved a lot, down to just a dull ache. The scar from the nostril reduction is still there, but I have been applying ointment regularly and taking care of it.- Daily life: I am still careful not to blow my nose hard or touch it, but I can do everyday life, light makeup, and washing my face without any problems.
