For about the first month after surgery, there was more swelling than I expected, so every time I looked in the mirror it felt awkward, and there were times I wondered whether it had gone well. I was especially worried because the side profile still did not seem natural, more so than the front view, but as time passed I could feel it gradually settling into place. From the second month, the larger swelling went down a lot and the nose line became more natural. Now, at the three-month mark, I am very satisfied compared with before surgery. The side profile changed a lot in particular. Before, the bridge was low and my face looked generally flat, but now there is more dimension, so my impression looks much clearer. From the front, it does not look overly high, and it suits my face well, so I am happy with it. People around me also tend to say more often that my overall facial impression looks better or that my features look cleaner, rather than immediately noticing that I had my nose done. At present, there is only a slight amount of swelling when I wake up in the morning. The tip of the nose still feels a little firm, but it causes no inconvenience in daily life at all. The pulling sensation when I laugh or make expressions has also decreased a lot compared with the beginning, and I feel mostly adapted to it. I have been told that the final result is still not completely in place, so I should wait a bit longer, but as of three months, both the natural look and my satisfaction are high, and I am looking forward to the remaining recovery process.
