To get straight to the point, this was my first open rhinoplasty, with silicone in the bridge and ear cartilage in the tip, and it had been exactly 10 years,,,, the silicone in the bridge bent, then nasal obstruction started happening (after removal, it turned out to be an L-shape) the tip also drooped, so it became a witch nose. The columella scar suddenly rose up and turned bright red. There was no contracture or inflammation. Since I had become unemployed, I removed it. I was so fed up with staring at the mirror that I felt like I was going crazy, and since I live in Gyeonggi-do, I did not have the confidence to go back and forth to Gangnam, so I went somewhere near my home. In case I might need a revision later, I have not removed the stitches yet, but the blockage inside my nose has completely disappeared, so breathing feels incredibly refreshing. I will share photos and a follow-up after the splint comes off and the stitches are removed. The shape of the nose will probably only be clear after about 6 months,,,, I am leaving this review in case there are people worrying as much as I was. The surgery ended up being much smoother than I expected, and the pain is basically zero, seriously such a relief. After the stitches come out, I will post photos and an update! Everyone, please do not worry too much. It will turn out well!! Fighting, stay strong
