The consultation was good in the sense that they explained clearly and calmly how the result would likely turn out while looking at my forehead. The problem was that I visited because I wanted to reduce a wide forehead and M-shaped hairline concern, but they said improving the M-shaped forehead would be almost impossible and that only the hairline could be lowered as is. Now I had it done elsewhere, and with forehead reduction I was able to clear the M-shaped area completely. It turned into a very clean line. I do not fully understand it, but maybe they were expecting that after reducing the forehead width, I would later get hairline hair transplantation as well, so they first reduce the forehead width and then expect me to get the transplant there too. During the consultation, they looked carefully at the concern area and also checked symmetry, so I felt trust, but after going elsewhere I learned that here they did not explain the specific method of forehead reduction. What possible side effects there could be. Maybe they thought there was no real point in mentioning them. And I really have a lot to say about the consultation. First, they did not push any additional procedures, and they were friendly until the moment I paid the deposit. But the reasons I was dissatisfied were: 1. They strongly pressured same-day booking. The price is only this if you book today, that kind of thing. 2. If you said you would book the same day, they immediately said, okay, then we will proceed with the blood test, and made you do a blood test. But in the meantime, the person drawing blood was really skilled. They drew it very well. I felt nothing at all. That part was very satisfying. 3. The moment that blood test happens, the deposit of about 100,000 won can never be refunded no matter what. The blood test costs usually about 10,000 to 30,000 won, but if you read the deposit consent form carefully, they charge 100,000 won only for the blood test. Yet verbally they just said they would take a deposit of 100,000 won. In other words, you cannot get the 100,000 deposit back. Normally, before surgery, the deposit refund rules are legally defined, but because they say this is money collected as a blood test fee, it cannot be enforced and the amount cannot be returned. So although they call it a deposit, they structure it so that a blood test worth 10,000 to 30,000 won is charged at 100,000 won and the deposit does not have to be refunded. The problem is that they did not say it was a blood test fee and rushed through the contract like, sign here and here, and I did not properly see that 100,000 won would be charged as a blood test fee and that once the blood test was done the deposit could not be refunded; moreover, their words made it seem as if the deposit was separate from the blood test. I had turned on voice recording just in case during the price discussion. When I later brought up the part where they had made it sound like the deposit was not separate from the blood test while discussing the refund, the manager reacted openly annoyed and said something like, "So you were recording? That means everything said with our staff and the doctor was recorded." Does anyone not know that voice recording is essential in consultations, especially for price-related matters? Without a recording, if something happens later, there is no way to respond. I said, "Legally, recording is needed to protect my own rights, and if I am a party to the conversation, recording is not legally problematic," and they replied, "I am not talking about legal matters right now." They got angry when I pointed out evidence that they had spoken in a way that could cause confusion between the blood test and the deposit. In fact, if I had no evidence, then I would be the one losing out. If that money were gone, fine, but to take 100,000 won as a blood test fee and then get angry about the recording, does that make sense? When I told another place about this, I ended up having forehead line surgery plus two other procedures there, a lift and eye widening, at almost the same price, and the result came out really well. Because I had surgery somewhere else, I was able to do the M-shaped forehead reduction they said could not be done here, and the proportion adjustment and eye widening were done really naturally, so I honestly felt that it was lucky I had problems with this place. I had originally planned that if it went well, I would make a review video myself and upload it in Korean and Chinese too, but it turned out so well at the other place that I even wanted to make self-promotion for them, and I have thought hundreds of times that it was good I did not do it here. After reducing my forehead a bit, the empty spots here and there started bothering me, so I naturally thought, should I also get hair transplantation? Originally I thought I would ask about a refund first, and if that did not work, just use that amount as a hair transplantation deposit, but the contract and the consultation attitude were just.. too much. I do not really care that I did not get the refund, but because of the attitude, I will absolutely never visit here again.
