<1><2><3><4><5>I wasn’t sure whether I should say I had double eyelids or didn’t have them. When I did my makeup, I used double-eyelid tape or double-eyelid glue to create double eyelids, and maybe because I kept doing that for so long, even after removing all my makeup, the line would still remain. So I felt like my eyes looked even more ambiguous, and I also started feeling like my eyes were gradually drooping, so I thought I should get double eyelid surgery.
I wanted big double eyelids? An outline crease, and because the skin around my eyes was drooping, I got it done with the incisional method at Private. Since I got it done this way, the swelling really went down slowly, and it did keep looking a bit unnatural for a while. In the early stage after surgery, it really looked obvious to anyone that I’d had surgery. If you think you’ll be too bothered by it looking unnatural and having to wait until all the swelling is completely gone, don’t do an outline crease. I’m also a pretty sensitive person, so I was like, “Isn’t this sausage-looking?” But once I saw my eyes after even the minor swelling had all gone down, it wasn’t sausage-looking.
When the swelling was very full, that was 2. When I felt like at least a lot of the swelling had gone down, that was 3 and 4? Comparing them, I don’t think there’s a big difference in the line height, but it definitely gives the feeling of puffy eyes versus natural-looking eyes lololol
Now it’s 5! Once even the minor swelling completely went away, the line lowered slightly too, so it got even better. And the part I’m most satisfied with is that my eyes look more defined!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s what I’m most satisfied with. Even looking at my pre-surgery eyes now, they look so plain. Oh, and I also like that I’m not using double-eyelid tape or double-eyelid glue after the surgery! It’s so convenient heheㅎㅎㅎㅎ
