Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

Day 1 review of going around for consultations for men's eyes!!

I had made reservations at a total of 10 places, and today I went to 4 haha. Tomorrow I plan to go to the remaining 4, and the day after tomorrow, 2. Until the surgery, I’m worried that if I write hospital names or even initials here, brokers might get involved ㅠㅠ so I’ll reveal as little as possible. For detailed hospital information, I’m planning to write an additional review once I’ve completely decided on the surgery.

First, I went with photos of the style I wanted and a list of a few questions. Among the questions, for general things like recovery period and side effects, I only asked at the first one or two hospitals, and after that I didn’t really ask anymore .. Maybe because the answers are the same at any hospital. As I moved from hospital to hospital for consultations, I mostly talked about the line and the surgical method.

1. Eye-focused hospital near Sinsa There were a total of four directors, and maybe because I went in the morning, there wasn’t as much waiting as I expected. Did it take about 20 minutes? At first, I had a consultation with the consultant about my desired style, surgical method, etc., and then I consulted with the director. They recommended epicanthoplasty + partial incision + fat removal, and the consultant was very kind, but the director wasn’t really like that. Among the places I visited today, this was the only one that explained the aftercare system in detail, such as providing several free laser treatments after surgery.

2. Eye-focused private clinic near Sinsa Here too, I think the wait was about 20 minutes? 30 minutes? Here, they said that to get the line I wanted, it absolutely had to be done by incision, and that non-incisional surgery was possible, but they didn’t recommend it. They recommended incision + canthoplasty.

3. Huge hospital in Gangnam Wow, I waited over an hour here just for the waiting time lololol. I didn’t count the directors, but it looked like there were more than 10 of them, so maybe because it’s definitely a large hospital, the waiting time was no joke .. The director was much kinder than the previous two. They recommended non-incisional ptosis correction, and when I asked about epicanthoplasty and fat removal, they said it would be good to do them, but the nuance was that I didn’t necessarily have to. The price was the most expensive ㅠ Maybe because the director is definitely really famous and it’s a big hospital.

4. Hospital right in front of Exit 11 in Gangnam Here, the consultant was seriously legendary-level kind, and how should I put it, very personable, so I think it was that much easier for me to talk about the parts I wanted. The director was also extremely kind. Here, they recommended non-incisional surgery + ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty, and they said fat removal probably wasn’t necessary. Also, with other directors, it usually felt like they answered only when I asked what I was curious about, and I had to take the lead to get information. But here, even without me asking first, the director first scanned and touched my face, set the line, and then told me things first, like that I have sunken eyes and what kind of style my eyes and brow bone are, so that was nice. It felt like I gained quite a lot from the consultation.

Now that I’ve written it all out, it feels like a review that isn’t helpful at all ㅠㅠ Later, once my surgery date is set, I’ll reveal all the hospital names too and try to write it in a way that’s much more helpful!
