Here’s my 1-month review of buried double-eyelid revision surgery. The reason I decided to have surgery was that my double eyelids had become too thin, making my eyes look smaller, so I started looking into surgery. I heard that this hospital and the director are famous for eye surgery, and since this was a hospital where many people had surgery through recommendations from acquaintances, that made me trust it even more. Before surgery, I visited for a consultation, and Director Ko personally explained everything to me, including my uneven eyes and the different strength when opening each side. I learned things I didn’t know... T_T lol
Of course, the surgical plan was to correct the part where the double eyelids had become thin. The staff in the operating room were also very kind, and after enough recovery time I left the hospital. On the day of surgery and afterward, the bruising and swelling were not as bad as I expected, so it didn’t interfere much with my daily life! After surgery, one eye felt slightly smaller and wider sideways, while the other felt wider vertically, but the director said they would gradually even out, and they did become more symmetrical afterward.
After the revision surgery, the front and back eye-line contours themselves became more defined, and my original eye line had a slightly gentle, soft look. I wanted to become a bit sharper, and after the revision surgery I got a slightly sharper, fox-like impression, which I’m very satisfied with. At other hospitals I often saw uneven eyes after surgery, but here they corrected it well, so the symmetry of both eyes is beautiful.
