I decided to have surgery because the area under my eyes kept swelling up and going down repeatedly after under-eye fat grafting. I had surgery for the under-eye area, the midface, foreign material removal, and dermal grafting all together.~ During the consultation, I was told in advance that recovery could take a long time. It is now day 5 after surgery, so there is still quite a bit of swelling and bruising. In particular, the under-eye area still shows a lot of yellow bruising and swelling. Still, this is the recovery process I was told to expect in advance, so I am not too worried.~ Since I also had foreign material removed, I think I will need more time than with a standard surgery. It is still too early to judge the result, so I plan to watch it calmly. I will also post updates on the recovery process slowly.
