<On the day I reached week 2> After surgery, the recovery process was so painful and difficult, and right after the splint was removed, the bridge of my nose was very swollen, and the nasal tip looked so blunt and upturned, so it felt really awkward and I worried a lot that it might stay like this. I was also upset, wondering if I had endured all that pain just for this. But I just shut my eyes and waited, and now I’m only at week 2, but the swelling on the nasal bridge has already gone down completely, making it look much slimmer. The nasal tip has also become much more natural, and I can see that the angle has come down slightly. Even people around me can notice it! I guess I worried too much for nothing,, All my worries disappeared now that I’m thinking it will keep becoming even more natural. For those who had rhinoplasty, don’t despair if your nasal tip looks upturned and unnatural after removing the splint. Looking back now, my nose was basically rebuilt on the operating table, so it actually makes less sense to expect it to magically become pretty in just one week,, It’s just extremely swollen, so please hang in there and wait! (Don’t look in the mirror for a while.) I was really stressed about this and kept searching for posts, so I’m writing this to help anyone with the same concern.
