Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

My review of contouring trio surgery made me stop correcting my face shape even in selfies

I’ll write a review to mark six months since my contouring surgery. When I knew nothing about cosmetic surgery, I thought the most important thing on a face was the eyes, nose, and mouth, but now I think the face’s completion ultimately comes from the face shape. I realized that clearly after getting the contouring trio this time... Honestly, when I edited photos, the part I adjusted most was my face shape, and I went through a period of really bad mental health wondering what exactly I was lacking. For a while my appearance anxiety got so bad that I spent all day staring in the mirror and constantly zooming in on photos I had taken to check them.. The biggest stress when I looked at my face was that from the front it looked wide because of my cheekbones and square jaw, and when taking photos I would always hide it with my hair as much as possible or turn myself into a different person with editing, and looking at myself like that just... Since this wasn’t a simple surgery, when I looked for a hospital I made sure the director had at least 20 years of experience, and instead of wanting something too naturally subtle, I looked mainly for a place that would make a clear before-and-after difference while slimming the jaw without making it overly severe. I split the consultations over two days and visited five places in total, but I ruled out places where the manager was pushing the deposit too hard, and I ended up having surgery at the place where I felt they paid attention to details the most, like the position of the nerve line and bone structure, and also reflected my opinions well (of course the director’s aesthetic sense matters, but since it’s my face, I think it’s also important that they adjust things according to my opinion) Now it’s been half a year since surgery, so a lot of the swelling has gone down and the line has settled in. The biggest change I noticed is that when I wear a hat, my face feels much smaller. People around me also often say first that my face seems smaller, and when I take photos I no longer have to edit my face shape like before, which is nice Of course contouring surgery is not the kind of surgery that changes your life, but for me it improved the part that was a complex and raised my self-esteem a lot. It’s only been half a year, so there may still be some minor swelling left to go down, and I’m waiting for that, but even if nothing else changes from here, I’m satisfied, and if I went back I would still have the surgery... Still, at the beginning it was really insanely hard, and I remember feeling anxious because I couldn’t open my mouth properly or had lost sensation, so it’s definitely not a surgery you can decide lightly. If there’s anyone considering contouring, I recommend not deciding in a rush but thinking carefully about which part of your face is your biggest concern and visiting several clinics for consultations. If anyone is before surgery or planning surgery, I’ll write down a few things I felt were needed after surgery so you can use it as a reference: Sauce containers (I felt these were essential because my mouth wouldn’t open properly after surgery; not from Daiso, go on Coupang) Child-sized toothbrush (same reason, no way I could use my regular toothbrush^^) Mouthwash (I was told to use it after eating or drinking anything except water) Liquid meals (the hospital gave me Newcare, and only after surgery do you understand why it’s needed...) Orthopedic pillow (not essential, but if you have a bad sleeping habit, definitely get one) Toner pads (since you can’t wash your face properly, it helps to prepare toner pads..) Dry shampoo (you can wash your hair starting 3 days after surgery, but I was too scared to wash properly) My hospital provided things like a toothbrush, mouthwash, Newcare, and ice packs, but if yours doesn’t, make sure to prepare them!!
