Revision Rhinoplasty Review

As time passed after my nose surgery, the columella became shorter and the support at the tip weakened, so I decided to get revision surgery. After several consultations, I had autologous costal cartilage used at the nasal tip. I was very worried because it was a revision surgery, but I felt reassured because I could hear a detailed explanation before the operation. In the early stage after surgery, there was swelling and bruising around the nose and the rib cartilage harvest site, but it was not as severe as I had expected, and it naturally went down over time. The chest scar I was most worried about has also become much lighter now because the incision was not very large, and it is at a level that does not bother me much in daily life. The support at the nasal tip has definitely improved, and the length of the columella has been adjusted appropriately, so I am satisfied with both the front and side views. I am still recovering, but the overall line has settled in naturally and stably, so I am happy that I decided to go ahead with revision surgery.
